Santosha Susan Ward

Santosha Susan began her career in Social Work, having been greatly drawn to the profession's values and principles, in particular that of non-judgement. It was no surprise really that she been graciously given the Yoga name, Santosha, which is Sanskrit meaning 'Acceptance'. As she has embarked on the path of Yoga and delved deeply into the yogic principle of Santosha she has discovered a whole new Self that was awaiting inside. This continues to blossom thorough her work in sharing the wonderful world of yoga with others.
After being exposed to the arena of energy work Santosha trained in Reflexology, Santosha became a Reiki Master and Yoga Teacher and has recently begun training in Crystal Therapy. Her approach to Yoga, health and wellness is intuitive and holistic. In her Yoga classes Santosha integrates her knowledge and experiences to give you a class tailored to your needs. You will not only learn the postures but how to tap into your own inner resources, increase your own conscious awareness of the integration of mind, body and spirit and how all of these aspects affect you as a whole person. You will then be better able to transfer these skills into your everyday life, and to see a positive shift in the ways you see yourself and the world around you.
Santosha has recently opened her own private studio in Uxbridge! For more information please contact her at:

Kim comes to my house every Tuesday night for a wonderful session of yoga, counselling, nutrition advice and fun. One could have the worse day in the world and when the session is over, you can’t help but feel wonderfully refreshed and best of all, calm and at peace. Kim can customize the session to address aches and pains. We are all different and have different sore spots. Kim knows the poses and stretches to address each one of them, and does it ever help. Kim is one the most special people I have ever met and just put simply, a pleasure to be around. It is wonderful that she comes to us, especially in the dead of winter. Always with an amazing smile on her face and new insight; my girlfriend and I look forward to every Tuesday night and hope that Kim offers this service for many years to come.

Thank you so much for a wonderful yoga class last night! It amazes me that you are able to walk into an entirely new environment with many partcipants you have never met before, and still lead a very nourishing, spiritual yoga class. I know it was greatly enjoy by all and it reminded me how lucky we were at the school this past year to have had you as our teacher.
